As per the IMDG Code, EXCEPT for classes 1, 2, 6.2 and 7, Dangerous goods are divided into 3 packaging groups with respect to degree of danger they pose.
A. Great danger - packaging group I
B. Medium danger - packaging group II
C. Minor danger - packaging group III
