Following documents are required for the ships carrying Dangerous goods -

1. Document of compliance (DOC)
> DOC certifies the carriage of Dangerous goods on the vessel
> It states that the vessel satisfies the constructional requirements for carriage of DG goods
> DOC is not required for classes 6.2 and 7 (when carried in limited quantities)

2. Shipper's declaration
> It is the declaration by the Shipper of the cargo that al Dangerous Goods have been properly packed, marked, labeled and placarded and safe for carriage as per the requirements of IMDG Code

3. Packing Certificate
> Packing certificate is issued by the person responsible for packing of the DG in the transport unit
> The packing certificate states that the DG has been properly packed, secured and applicable requirements have been met

4. Dangerous Goods Manifest
> Dangerous goods manifest OR dangerous cargo manifest states the location of Dangerous good onboard the vessel
> A detailed stowage plan marking the place of loading of DG Goods may be used as a DG Manifest
> This document is required to be made available to the port authority prior departure / arrival
