Maintenance points for Auxiliary Boiler -

1. Check all alarms and safety cut out
2. Check the operation of safety valve
3. Carry out blowdown of gauge glass
4. Clean main burner, pilot burner and nozzle tip, nozzle
5. Remove carbon deposit and adjust electrode clearance
6. Remove carbon deposit from flame eye glass cover
7. Clean furnace
8. Clean FO filter
9. Maintain correct fuel oil pressure and temperature
10. Clean fuel oil heater at regular interval
11. Adjust fuel and air ratio
12. Check float chamber
13. Maintain boiler water temperature
14. Scum blow down
15. Blow down
16. Carry out boiler water test regularly
17. Add chemical regularly according to the boiler water test result
18. Manhole door leaking or not
19. Cascade tank water level and temperature
