What is Creeping Line Search?

Both parallel track and creeping line search are based on covering (sweeping) the search area by maintaining parallel tracks as shown in Fig below. The only difference between these two is in the orientation of the search legs, i.e. if the search legs are parallel to the long sides (major axis) or short sides (minor axis) of the designated search area. |
