Permissible load density: Permissible load density is the amount of weight that can be safely loaded per unit volume of Cargo Hold / Deck.

A point load is a load applied to a single, specific point on a structural member. It is also known as a concentrated load, and an example of it would be a hammer hitting a single nail into a beam. On ship, it could be an eye pad welded on the main deck which can be used for lashing.

Values of above can be obtained from Cargo Securing Manual.
